FORCE MAJEURE Great Lakes Gas Transmission - Emerson Eastbound (Posted: 9/27/24)
This is to notify all interested parties that Great Lakes Gas Transmission ("GLGT") has experienced an unexpected and uncontrollable equipment failure that resulted in a fire at Cloquet compressor station on unit 502. Great Lakes has determined that this equipment failure is a Force Majeure event as described in Section 6.10.1 of GLGT's FERC Gas Tariff ("Tariff") and will result in its inability to carry out its obligations under its Tariff with respect to natural gas transportation and related services. As a result of this event, GLGT is required to restrict capacity as follows:
Emerson Eastbound Flow (LOC# 3833975): Available Capacity 1,695 MMcf/d
This Force Majeure does not supersede planned maintenance. Please refer to the current maintenance schedule for additional capacity impacts.
This posting will be updated as further information becomes available.
This may result in Firm Primary, Firm Secondary and Interruptible curtailments. Please reference Section 6.10.3 (b) of GLGT's FERC Gas Tariff for information regarding reservation charge credits as they relate to Force Majeure events.
